I have always oogled over other's cards that used paper piecing and promised myself I would try it. Well its been 3 years of paper crafting and I still had not done it. Last night, I was feeling inspired by a few of the challenges that I usually take part in and decided it was now or never. It is by far not perfect, as I learned some things during my first attempt, like don't glue the pieces on until after you colour, but I think it turned out okay non-the-less.
My card uses the following:
Doodlebug's snipes and snails 6x6 paper pad
Momento black ink and copics
My favourite things stamp set- Pure innocence lotus blossom
Prima flowers
Dew drops of the centers of the flowers
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
One Crazy stamper may challenge-Mom's
Scrapbookers playing in paradise challenge 68-Spring colours
MFT wednesday stamp club challenge 73
Creations by Gill M Challenge 5-stripes and spots
